Youth Escrima: Intermediate Syllabus

The Intermediate Syllabus builds on the previous level by adding armed and unarmed controlling techniques, and transitioning to double sticks.
– Student Grades: 5-8
– T-shirt Colour: Green

New Year Term: Starts January, Grading: 16th & 23rd March
Summer Term: Starts April, Grading: 6th & 13th July
Summer Holiday Programme: Starts July, no Grading.
Autumn Term: Starts September, Grading: 30th November & 7th December

Grade 5: Disarms
Grade 6: Controls & Take Downs
Grade 7: Double Sticks

Grade 8 is a Revision Grade where you need to show all the material from the previous seven grades to a higher standard.
